His Analysis Is Correct and Well Stated, But Does It Go Far Enough?

I agree with Ben's analysis and his prescription for what Republicans would need do to win in 2016. He does a great job of explaining why establishment/corporatist/squishy "centrist"/RINO assumptions about how to win are wrong. The tactics that lost in 2008 and 2012 will lose again in 2016 and Ben provides some key factual evidence explaining why. In particular his explanation of how Republicans and Democrats spend money differently in presidential campaigns is illuminating and a key piece of the puzzle.
Where I part ways with Ben a little bit and would perhaps push him to go further in future pamphlets, articles, speeches, and podcasts: the evidence and arguments he presents indicate that the probability of Republican defeat in 2016 is *very* high. I already thought things looked gloomy, now they appear even worse! Ben's points about what Republicans can do to win are correct, but who among the potential candidates could actually implement them? None of the remaining potential candidates have either a willingness or the ability to implement Ben's final crucial fact of political war: "Strength Achieves Victory, Warmth Without Strength Achieves Defeat." The situation for conservatives seems much more severe -- will standard political tactics be enough to win in 2016? Especially in a year when Donald Trump may be doing his pals the Clintons a favor by playing the Ross Perot spoiler role?
